Safety

 All operators on the road today are equipped with hand-sanitizer, gloves, masks, spray disinfectant, wipes, and masks.

Maintaining Distance

Passenger seating capacity is limited to ensure physical distancing is maintained. Passengers are instructed to maintain space while entering and exiting.

Cleaned & Sanitized

Every bus undergoes thorough cleaning using EPA-approved hospital-grade sanitizing solution. High-touch areas are wiped down frequently throughout the day before and after every shift.

Screening

Operators and staff are screened using a comprehensive checklist prior to every shift to ensure they are symptom-free and safe to come to work.

Safety Protocols

At TransAction Corporate Shuttles, safety is not a buzzword—it has always been at the core of everything we do. When it became clear very quickly that COVID-19 was going to be a long-term challenge, we were able to respond immediately to protect our passengers and staff while continuing to provide transportation for essential workers.

In addition to good hygiene practices, physical distancing, and requiring face coverings, TransAction is maintaining enhanced cleaning and disinfecting protocols including:

  • Increased frequency of regularly scheduled cleaning
  • New protocols using individual sprayers

Following CDC Guidelines Can You to Protect Yourself and Others

Clean your hands often

  • Wash your hands often, ideally with soap and hot water for at least 20 seconds (the time it takes to sing "Happy Birthday" twice).
  • When soap and water aren't available, cover all surfaces of your hands with sanitizer (at least 60% alcohol) and rub them together until they feel dry.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.

Avoid close contact

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Stay at home when you can.
  • Maintain 6-feet of distance (that's a bicycle length) between you and others.

Cover coughs and sneezes

  • Always cover your mouth and nose; use the inside of your elbow.
  • Throw used tissues in the trash.
  • Immediately wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not readily available, clean your hands with a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.

Face coverings

  • Governor Baker has issued an order effective Wednesday, May 6, 2020 requiring face masks or cloth face coverings in public places where social distancing is not possible. 
  • This applies to both indoor and outdoor spaces
  • Exceptions include children under the age of 2 and those unable to wear a mask or face covering due to a medical condition.
